     We knew we wanted to buy a rug during our time in Istanbul and had done tons of research beforehand. I had prepared myself to not be able to afford any of the ones I read about - rugs with history and in good condition.
   I had hopes, but the more I read the more I figured the reality would be different. I accepted that and we left for Istanbul.
